About the Flathead Reservation Fish & Wildlife Board

The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes and the State of Montana established a management board for the development of cooperative management plans that include fishing and bird hunting regulations on the Flathead Indian Reservation.

The board's membership consists of seven representatives: three appointed by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes' Tribal Council and three appointed by Montana's Governor. The seventh member must be an employee of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and must be mutually agreed upon by the Tribal Council and Montana's Governor.

For more information, contact Dillon Tabish at (406) 751-4564.
