Individual commissioners are not required to propose any requested modifications or changes to a department recommendation prior to a meeting and may do so by requesting one or more amendments to the department’s recommended motion language at the time of the meeting. Commissioners may, however, submit a written proposal to the department for a modification to a department recommendation prior to a meeting.
