About FWP > Commission Fish and Wildlife Commission Special Meeting: February 9, 2024

When: Wednesday, February 9 at 2:00 p.m.

Where: Virtually via Zoom

Agenda: This meeting will be for the purpose of reviewing the current wolf harvest in Regions 1 and 2. This review is required by regulation and is triggered by the wolf harvest numbers being over 75% of the set quota. If no action is taken, there will be no public comment taken. If action is taken, public comment will also be taken.
 


Public Comment

If action is taken, the commission will take public comment via Zoom. Registration will open at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7. If you wish to register to comment, you had to register by noon on Friday, February 9.  

Those who register will receive an email with login information shortly before the meeting begins.

NOTE:

The commission may take action on all matters specifically noticed on any agenda. In doing so, the commission may accept, reject, or modify any actions recommended or proposed by the department on any action item. Individual commissioners are not required to propose any requested modifications or changes to a department recommendation prior to a meeting and may do so by requesting one or more amendments to the department’s recommended motion language at the time of the meeting. Commissioners may, however, submit a written proposal to the department for a modification to a department recommendation prior to a meeting. In those instances, the department will post the proposed change and the department’s response (if any) to the meeting agenda website for public review and comment.  Time for comment may be limited at the Chair's discretion.
