WHAT IS THE LICENSE AMBASSADOR PROGRAM?
The License Ambassador Program is a modernized approach to external license sales. Local businesses (Ambassadors) will provide a dedicated station, such as a computer or tablet, where customers can access FWP’s Online Licensing System (OLS) to purchase licenses and apply for permits.
WHY IS FWP MAKING THIS CHANGE?
The previous system relied on FWP-issued equipment that was outdated, unreplaceable, and difficult to maintain. By moving to a web-based model that uses a business’s own equipment, FWP can reduce administrative costs, focus resources on streamlining operations, and allow new businesses to sell licenses.
