Education

Discover Montana's Ecosystems.

“Discovering Montana’s Ecosystems” is a fun and exciting way for learners of all ages to Discover, Explore, Conserve and Learn about our natural landscapes! The site includes information about flora (plants) and fauna (fish & wildlife); FWP sites; People Doing Good Work; and activities that teach about food chains, classification, adaptations, and human impacts.

The site is designed to provide educators of upper elementary and middle school students with a learning module to assist their students in attaining specific Montana science curriculum standards.

If you are a newcomer to a sport or would like to learn more about the activity you already enjoy, FWP offers a variety of outdoor education programs including evening seminar, day-long clinics, and a multiple-day course. Some of these programs such as hunter education are required before you head to the field.

Please keep in mind that being a safe and responsible user of natural resources is important to all of us who enjoy the beauty and wildness of this great state of Montana. Join us in making this experience last forever.
