The Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission will meet Dec. 10 using the video conferencing platform Zoom. Details on how to access the meeting will be posted on fwp.mt.gov closer to the meeting date. The meeting will also be audio streamed online at fwp.mt.gov. The meeting begins at 9 a.m.

Town of Manhattan Water Right Consent EA >

The Town of Manhattan (Manhattan) has requested that Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) consent to the modification of the conditions of a municipal water right permit for groundwater and to the issuance of a change application for a West Gallatin irrigation right to provide mitigation for the impacts of the groundwater permit on the Gallatin River.

BMA Restrictions and Closures >

Hunters may encounter BMA closures or restrictions. Please contact regional FWP staff and/or BMA landowners prior to making final hunting trip plans to identify any possible land closures, BMA use restrictions, or other actions which might affect your hunting activities.

More hunters, mild weather for final big game weekend >

Very pleasant weather for the final weekend of the big game hunting season drew lots of hunters out to try to punch their tags in southeastern Montana. Hunter traffic was above average at two of the three biological check stations set up Sunday.
