Guided Bird Walk: Wednesday, June 4, 8-9:30 a.m.

This walk and its content are geared toward adults. We will follow a flat, one-mile loop and will be out for around an hour and a half. Montana WILD will provide binoculars or you can bring your own.

Bird Banding: Friday, June 13, 8-11 a.m.

Observe a bird banding station in action! Montana WILD and Spring Meadow Lake State Park are thrilled to host six bird banding events throughout the summer with public opportunities to observe birds - and scientists - up close. Montana WILD staff and volunteers will provide education for adults and kids at the events. Those interested in dropping by can meet at the gazebo on the back lawn of Montana WILD. No registration is required for these free programs.

Bat Walk: Friday, June 13, 9-10:30 p.m.

Come and explore the fascinating world of bats! After a brief bat presentation in our auditorium, we will walk down to Spring Meadow Lake where participants will search for bats and use special equipment to hear their echolocation as they navigate and forage over the lake.
