Hunting for female mountain lions to close in hunting districts 283, 285, 323, 324, 325 and 327

HELENA – The hunting of female mountain lions in hunting districts 283, 285, 323, 324, 325 and 327 will close at one-half hour after sunset on Thursday, Jan. 27. 

The order halting the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for the combined districts had been met.
