Hunting for male mountain lions closed in hunting districts 280, 281, 284, 293 and 298E

HELENA – The hunting of male mountain lions in hunting districts 280, 281, 284, 293 and 298E closed at one-half hour after sunset on Sunday, Jan. 23. 

The order halting the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for the combined districts had been met.
