Hunting for male mountain lions to close in hunting district 240

HELENA – The hunting of male mountain lions in hunting district 240 will close at one-half hour after sunset on Tuesday, Jan. 4.  

The order halting the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for the combined districts had been met.
