Hound hunting for black bears to close in hunting district 700

HELENA – The hound hunting for all black bears in hunting district 700 will close at one-half hour after sunset on Thursday, April 28. 

The order halting the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for the district had been met.
