Hunting for female mountain lions to close in HD 340

HELENA – The hunting of female male mountain lions in hunting district 340 southwest Montana will close at one-half hour after sunset on Tuesday, Dec. 21. 

The order halting the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for the combined districts had been met.
