Mallard’s Rest Boat Ramp Repair FWP-DN-Fisheries-R3-25-003

The existing boat ramp at the Mallard’s Rest fishing access site (FAS) has eroded and become undercut due to high flows in the Yellowstone River. The proposed project includes removing damaged infrastructure remaining at the boat ramp and replacing it with clean rip rap and 3-inch minus washed rock to fill the current void. New concrete cable mat will be installed on top of the rock. About 25 cubic yards of clean rock and 15 square yards of new concrete cable mat will be placed into the river. The project is proposed by Nick Enblom with FWP. The project is expected to take no longer than five days and will occur sometime between May 1, 2025, and November 1, 2025.
