City of Missoula - Pattee Cr Stormwater DN SPA 124; FWP-DN-FSH-124-R2-25-012

This EA involves stream permitting associated with the City of Missoula’ proposal to implement infrastructure improvements to enhance water quality in Pattee Creek. These improvements primarily include sediment and contaminant settling basins, as well as stormwater outfall improvements. Most of the work associated with this project occurs outside the immediate bed and banks of Pattee Creek which fall under the Stream Protection Act (SPA-124) jurisdiction.

Based on the environmental review provided in the Draft EA, and, to the greatest extent possible, in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies, FWP determined the proposed action (Alternative 2), will not have significant adverse impacts on the human environment and constitutes a reasonable and appropriate strategy to achieve identified objectives. Therefore, preparation of an environmental impact statement or EIS is unnecessary. The project will allow the City of Missoula to implement planned water quality improvements on Pattee Creek.

FWP hereby adopts the Draft EA as final and approves Alternative 2, the Proposed Action.
