Lone Tree Pond Rainbow Trout Introduction CEA

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) is proposing to stock rainbow trout into a pond located on private lands to increase angling opportunities in Blaine County, MT. At full pool the pond is approximately 15 feet deep and capable of supporting a rainbow trout population. FWP would use hatchery reared fish to establish a rainbow trout population accessible to anglers at this pond for recreational purposes. An agreement will be established with the landowners to allow public access prior to any fish being stocked into the pond by FWP.
