Region 3 5-Year Boat Ramp Maintenance Permit FWP-DN-FSH-R3-24-071

Fine sediments and debris are deposited on many FWP boat ramps along rivers in Region 3 following spring runoff, major storm events, or ice gorging. FWP staff remove the materials to maintain functionality of the ramps and reduce public safety hazards. Heavy equipment will be used to remove such materials off boat ramps and transported to appropriate upland sites. A 5-year maintenance permit will allow FWP or contractors to complete the proposed work as needed.
