Madison County Spring-fed Tributary to Madison River Beaver Exclusion – 3 Dollar Bridge FWP-DN-FSH-R3-24-074

The project is located on an unnamed, spring-fed tributary to the Madison River. The banks are gently sloping with grasses, shrubs, aspens, and willows. The applicants will install a 12'x4' exclusion fence by hand on the upstream end of the culvert. The materials used for construction, 6'' x 8'' cattle panels, which will facilitate fish passage while preventing beavers blocking the culvert at the upstream or downstream end. Beavers will be able to continue their natural riparian behavior without impacting infrastructure.

The applicant is Bill Todd of Madison County. The project is expected to occur in late September – October 31st.
