The proposal is to reconstruct a streambank and place a berm to keep the stream in its original channel. A debris jam caused a channel avulsion that is damaging a county road and creating a maintenance issue and travel hazard at times. Work will include the removal of alluvium and construction of a new streambank that will consist of rock overlaid with soil. Returning the stream to its original channel is the most efficient and effective way to route the stream back to the unnamed tributary to Trail Creek.
