Wold Reservoir Bluegill Introduction

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks proposes to introduce Bluegill into Wold Reservoir, a 24.2-acre reservoir in Dawson County, MT. The objective of this proposal is to create a recreational fishing opportunity for Northeast Montana anglers. Bluegill are expected to become self-sustaining following introduction. Long-term monitoring will allow for densities to be established that maximize survival, growth, and catchability.
