DECISION NOTICE
DNRC East Fork Rock Creek Dam Rehabilitation- 124 PERMIT
FWP determined the proposed action (Alternative 2) will not have significant adverse impacts on the human environment and constitutes a reasonable and appropriate strategy to achieve identified objectives. Therefore, preparation of an environmental impact statement or EIS is unnecessary. The project will address long term stability of a high hazard dam and ensure the stability of East Fork Reservoir. East Fork Reservoir is an important body of water as it maintains habitat for a strong bull trout population and important recreational westslope cutthroat trout fishery.
FWP hereby adopts the Draft EA as final and approves Alternative 2,
the Proposed Action.
