Westslope Cutthroat Trout Enhancement Through Rainbow and Hybrid Trout Removal EA Decision Notice

On February 3, 2023, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) issued a draft Environmental Assessment (EA) proposing to enhance westslope cutthroat trout through rainbow and hybrid trout removal. FWP determined there to be no significant impacts on the human and physical environments associated with this project. Therefore, concluded that the checklist EA was the appropriate level of analysis, and that and EIS is not required. With this action, FWP hereby adopts the Draft EA as final and approves the proposed action.
