Brackett Creek Future Fisheries Grant Environmental Assessment

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks released an Environmental Assessment (EA) for a project on Brackett Creek, located in east of Clyde Park (Park County). The Future Fisheries Improvement Program would provide funding to remove a bridge, restore the stream channel, vegetate the riparian area, and improve floodplain access on Brackett Creek. The goals of the project are to reduce erosion and improve habitat many species, including Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout. Public comment is due by 5:00 PM on August 12, 2023.
