Decision Notice Schnell Roadside Menagerie Permit

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is recommending the Fish & Wildlife Commission approve the application for a Roadside Menagerie Permit to applicants Paul and Anne Schnell of Noxon, MT, allowing them to house various raptors for educational purposes. Under the Proposed Action of the draft environmental assessment, FWP would issue the requested permit for a roadside menagerie which would allow the applicant to keep 10 raptors in custom built mews.

A draft EA was released for public comment from August 10 to September 9, 2021. 2 public comments were received. All questions and concerns raised by commenters are addressed in the decision notice.
