Decision Notice FY22 Prickly Pear Sportsmen’s Association Shooting Range Grant

Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks (FWP) released a draft environmental assessment (EA) for a Shooting Range Development Grant proposal from the Prickly Pear Sportsmen’s Association (PPSA).

FWP will provide up to $46,692 in funding for projects deemed eligible for Prickly Pear Sportsmen’s Association proposed improvements of building a new storage building, installing a solar power plant and installing an electric card reader for the front gate.

A Draft EA was made available for public review and comment on FWP’s website (http://fwp.mt.gov/, “news/Public-Notices”) from April 27, 2021 to May 14, 2021. A legal notice was also published in the Helena Independent newspaper on Friday April 30, 2021.

Based on public and internal review, the Draft EA will be adopted as the Final EA. This Decision Notice and the Final EA will serve as the final documents pertaining to this action.
