Decision Notice FY22 Central Montana Shooting Complex Shooting Range Grant

Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks (FWP) released a draft environmental assessment (EA) for a Shooting Range Development Grant proposal from Central Montana Shooting Complex (CMSC). 

FWP will provide up to $12,700 in funding for projects deemed eligible for Central Montana Shooting Complex’s proposed improvements of constructing a storage building to store trap equipment, machines, and clay targets. 

The CMSC is located off U.S. Highway 191 approximately 2 miles north of Lewistown, Montana at 520 Lime Kiln Road, Lewistown, MT 59457; Lat. 47.09489, Long. -109.42615; Section 3, Township 15 North, Range 18 East. 

A Draft EA was made available for public review and comment on FWP’s website (http://fwp.mt.gov/, “news/Public-Notices”) from May 10, 2021 to May 28, 2021. A legal notice was also published in the Lewistown News newspaper on May 12, 2021.

No public comments were received.

 

Based on public and internal review, the Draft EA will be adopted as the Final EA. This Decision Notice and the Final EA will serve as the final documents pertaining to this action.
