Cree Crossing Hay Lease Draft Environmental Assessment

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP) is requesting public comment on a proposed Environmental Assessment (EA) draft for a 1-year prescriptive haying lease on the Cree Crossing Wildlife Management Area (WMA), located in Phillips County, to be awarded through a sealed bid process. These fields account for approximately 129 acres of the 398-acre WMA.

Public Comment
The public comment period will extend for (20) twenty days following the publication of the second legal notice in area newspapers. Written comments will be accepted until 5:00 p.m., March 15, 2021 and can be mailed to the address below:
