This draft Environmental Assessment (EA) has been prepared for public review regarding a proposal to provide partial funding toward a irrigation diversion decommissioning project on the Flynn Lowney Ditch, which is connected to the Clark Fork River (at Missoula). The overall goal to reduce fish entrainment and increase instream flow in the Clark Fork River. Any physical modifications are outside the scope of this Environmental Assessment. The City of Missoula will complete a separate public process considering the project.
Comments will be accepted through September 30, 2021. This draft EA will be considered as final if no substantive comments are received by the deadline.
