State Trails Advisory Committee to meet March 19, 20

HELENA – The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ State Trails Advisory Committee (STAC) will meet next week to review and discuss the scoring of applications for the 2025 grant cycles for the Recreation Trails and Trail Stewardship programs.
The meeting will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 19 and from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on March 20.
During the meeting, the committee will review and discuss scoring of applications received for the 2025 grant cycles for the Recreational Trails Program and the Trail Stewardship Program.
The group will meet in person, with a virtual option, at the Region 5 headquarters in Billings. The meeting is open to public, and public comment will be taken. A full agenda will be posted the State Trails Advisory Committee webpage.

The STAC advises FWP on trail-related issues including the funding, use and promotion of motorized and nonmotorized recreational trails.
