PLPW Advisory Committee to meet February 5 via Zoom

HELENA – The Private Land/Public Wildlife (PLPW) Advisory Committee will meet Feb. 5 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Zoom. Public comment will be taken via Zoom. To participate in the meeting and to provide comment, go to fwp.mt.gov/plpw and click on the meeting link.    

At its upcoming meeting, the committee will discuss and make recommendations on updates to the FWP online hunter-landowner stewardship course. The current online course can be viewed at: fwp.mt.gov/hunt/education/hunter-landowner-stewardship-project.      

The PLPW advisory committee, appointed by the governor, is a citizen advisory committee composed of people interested in issues related to hunters, anglers, landowners and outfitters. The committee is charged with reviewing, reporting and making recommendations on FWP’s hunting and fishing access programs, landowner-hunter relations, outfitting industry issues, public access land agreement, and other issues related to private lands and public wildlife.
