WHIP advisory council to meet in Helena

HELENA – Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ Wildlife Habitat Improvement Program (WHIP) advisory council will meet Jan. 9 to discuss program administration.
The meeting will be in Helena at the FWP office on 1625 11th Ave., on the third floor. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m., and public comment will be taken near the end, at approximately noon.
The WHIP is a federally funded program to help address noxious weed management for high priority wildlife habitats in Montana. The program funds projects annually. These funding proposals are reviewed and ranked for funding by the advisory council.
