Pictograph State Park to host art show and Earth Day event

BILLINGS – A four-day event called the “Four Directions Art Show and Earth Day Event” will be held April 17 through April 21 at Pictograph Cave State Park. The four-day event celebrates Earth Day. The first two days will focus on an exhibit and sale of artwork by four local artists, displaying paintings, ceramics, pine needle weavings and assorted crafts. During the weekend, there will be a lineup of speakers, presentations, music and more.
Artists include Hank Fuller, Tina Becker, Theresa Gong and Jim Seaton. Music will be provided by Earthshine, Soul Funk Collective and Mary Kate Teske. Saturday and Sunday will also feature poets and speakers.
The art exhibit and sale will be Thursday and Friday, April 17 and 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Speaking and presentations will be Saturday and Sunday, April 19 and 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The art show and event will be held in the classroom of the visitor center at Pictograph Cave State Park, 3401 Coburn Road, in Billings. If the weather is nice, some activities may be held outdoors.
This event is free and open to the public. Any out-of-state vehicles or visitor drop-offs (taxi, Uber, etc.) will be charged the standard day-use fee for visiting the park.
