FWP closing Custer Avenue office for construction

HELENA – Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is closing its office on Custer Avenue in Helena for construction. People who would like to purchase licenses or pick up regulations and other printed material can still do so at the FWP office at 1420 East Sixth Avenue, near the Capitol.
FWP’s Custer Avenue complex will still be open to people needing to check-in animals as required by regulations, such as black bears, mountain lions and bighorn sheep. The public can access the complex via River Rock Drive, off of McHugh Drive.
People who need to check in their animals at the facility must call 406-495-3260 to set up an appointment.
FWP’s Custer Avenue office will be closed starting May 5.
