FWP south-central Montana Citizen Advisory Committee to meet December 5

BILLINGS – The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Region 5 Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) will meet Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Billings FWP office (2300 Lake Elmo Dr.). The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and is anticipated to last three hours.

At the December meeting, FWP will present on the agency’s proposed budget and legislation. Local legislators will also be invited to attend. Every CAC meeting includes a member roundtable discussion, during which members can express concerns and ideas from their area and constituents.  

The CAC is a general advisory committee that provides input and feedback to FWP on diverse issues, from wildlife and fisheries management to access, state parks, outdoor recreation, and law enforcement. The committee is designed to have a membership that represents a variety of Montana communities and natural resource interests.
