PLPW Advisory Committee to meet May 14 and 15 in Billings

HELENA – The Private Land/Public Wildlife Advisory Committee will meet May 14 and 15 at the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ Region 5 office in Billings. The public is welcome to attend in person or register to make public comment via Zoom. The meeting runs from 1 to 5 p.m. on May 14 and from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. on May 15.
The 13-member advisory committee, appointed by the governor, is charged with reviewing FWP’s access programs and offering recommendations to help achieve program goals and maintaining good relations between hunters and landowners.
The committee will hear updates from Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks staff and discuss their recommendations for public land access agreements, access programs, hunter/landowner relations and topics for their biennial report.
