Art show and sale over Labor Day Weekend at Pictograph Cave State Park

BILLINGS – Pictograph Cave State Park is hosting two local artists for an art show and sale over Labor Day Weekend.

Artists Mana Lesman and Susan Nelson will display an extensive collection of watercolor and mixed artwork from Aug. 29 to Sept. 1. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day in the park’s visitor center classroom. The artists will be on site to discuss their passions for local landscapes and the scenes depicted in their work.

Lesman has been active in the Billings art community since the 1980’s and has painted watercolors of Pictograph Cave and the surrounding area for over 25 years. Nelson has been a student of Lesman’s and has mastered her own style of capturing outdoor scenes of Montana.

Pictograph Cave State Park is located just outside of Billings at 3401 Coburn Road.
