Montana State Parks and Recreation Board to meet August 20

HELENA – The Montana State Parks and Recreation Board will meet virtually through Zoom on Aug. 20 at 9 a.m. To listen to the meeting and for information on how to join the meeting via Zoom, go to the State Parks and Recreation Board’s webpage prior to the meeting start time.  

Those interested in making a public comment during the meeting must register online on the Fish, Wildlife & Parks webpage. The deadline to register is noon on Aug. 19. 

The board will take action on the following item:  

  • 2026-2027 Proposed Budget Priorities 

  • Administrative Rulemaking (Smith River) – Existing ARM Correction and New ARM 

  • Public Use Rules Deviations 

  • Board Discussion – Classification and Investment Strategy Policy
