Fish and Wildlife Commission to hold special meeting December 15

HELENA – The Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission will hold a special meeting Friday, Dec. 15 at 4 p.m. to review the wolf harvest and quota in wolf management unit (WMU) 313.  

The 2023 wolf regulations set the quota for WMU 313 at six wolves. The regulations also stipulate that the commission shall meet when the quota is within 25 percent of being filled. As of Dec. 14, the wolf harvest in WMU 313 was at five wolves.  

The meeting will be held via Zoom and a link and instructions on how participate will be posted online Dec. 15. The meeting will also be streamed live on the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks website.
