Madison Buffalo Jump State Park to host Flying Buffalo Project event

LOGAN – Madison Buffalo Jump State Park will host a free event this month celebrating the history of the site through arts, crafts and other activities for families.

The Flying Buffalo Project event will be Saturday, Sept. 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. near the park’s picnic area. Local artists, educators and park staff will help visitors enjoy making and flying kites, arts and crafts, and learning how to throw an atlatl.

Visitors can also enjoy the park’s many trails while learning more about the buffalo jump and its importance to native peoples.
