Mar 30, 2022 12:47 PM

MILES CITY – There are plenty of seats remaining in the Miles City Bowhunter Education in-person class scheduled for April 6-9, but interested participants must register online at fwp.mt.gov by Friday, April 1 at the latest. If there is not sufficient registration, the in-person class may be canceled, and this could be the only local in-person class offered in 2022.

Students must be at least 11 years old by the first day of class. To register, visit fwp.mt.gov, then click on Education, Hunter Education, and scroll down to Bowhunter Education. After registering, students need to pick up student workbooks at the Miles City Fish, Wildlife & Parks office before April 5. They should read and complete chapters 1-3 prior to the start of class.

The class will run 6-9 p.m. on April 6-8 at the FWP office. The field course is Saturday, April 9 from 8 a.m.-12 at nearby Spotted Eagle Recreation Area. Students should dress for the weather and for field conditions. Participants must attend all sessions to be certified.

If you have any questions, please contact instructor Kent Undlin at (406)-853-6116.
