Madison River Work Group to meet March 24 in Bozeman

BOZEMAN – The Madison River Work Group will meet Thursday, March 24, at 5:30 p.m., in Bozeman at the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Region 3 Headquarters office, 1400 South 19th Ave. The meeting will be livestreamed on the FWP website. The focus on the meeting will be on commercial recreational use.

The work group will also hear updates on non-commercial use, new outfitters, fishing access site improvements and a river ambassador pilot program. A full agenda will be posted to the website before the meeting.

The 12-member work group was organized by the Fish and Wildlife Commission, per an administrative rule. This is the fifth meeting of the work group.
