West-Central Montana FWP Citizen Advisory Committee to hold open house with legislators Dec. 6

MISSOULA –The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Region 2 Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) will meet with local legislators on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at the FWP office in Missoula (3201 Spurgin Road) beginning at 6 p.m.
The 20-member committee meets quarterly to discuss a variety of fish, wildlife, natural resource, and outdoor recreation issues. At the Dec. 6 meeting, citizen advisors will receive a presentation on the agency’s priorities for the upcoming Legislative session and discuss with local legislators who are invited to the meeting.
The CAC is a general advisory committee that provides input and feedback to FWP on diverse issues, from wildlife and fisheries management to access, state parks, outdoor recreation, and law enforcement. The committee is designed to have a membership that represents a variety of west-central Montana communities and natural resource interests.
