The Private Land/Public Wildlife (PL/PW) Advisory Committee will meet on March 17 using the video conferencing platform Zoom. A time for public comment has been set for 3:00 p.m.

During the meeting, committee members will finalize their 2021 Public Access Land Agreement scoring criteria, receive presentations on public access to public lands from specialists with DNRC and the Bureau of Land Management and receive an update on the elk management planning process. Committee members will additionally hear from the executive director of the International Hunter Education Association about hunter/landowner relationships and a video project that was initiated by the PL/PW Committee.

PL/PW is charged with reviewing FWP access programs and offering recommendations to help achieve program goals and maintaining good relations between hunters and landowners.
