DILLON – Selway Park Fishing Access Site has reopened after a temporary closure caused by a fallen cottonwood tree.
High winds caused the large tree to fall onto an occupied vehicle on June 10. The person in the vehicle was not injured.
Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks staff have removed the tree and assessed the rest of the site for public safety. The site has been reopened.
FWP thanks staff from the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation for their assistance with the project.
Selway Park Fishing Access Site is in Dillon along the Beaverhead River.
