August 7 astronomy program planned for Council Grove State Park

MISSOULA– Join state parks staff for an astronomy program at Council Grove State Park on Saturday, August 7. This new moon astronomy program will run from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The “park after dark” event is free and is a great opportunity to explore and learn about the night sky at Council Grove, just west of Missoula off Mullan Road.  Please dress for the weather and feel free to bring a camp chair or blanket. Pre-registration is required.
