Commission to hold public hearing on proposed action to the administrative rules pertaining to licensing
Dec 7, 2021 12:14 PM
HELENA – The Fish and Wildlife Commission will hold a public hearing on the proposed adoption, amendment, and repeal of the administrative rules pertaining to licensing. The hearing will be held Dec. 13 at 1:30 p.m. via Zoom. There will be no in-person hearing
FWP and the commission have sporadically adopted, amended and repealed individual administrative rules pertaining to licensing but have not completed a comprehensive review of all the administrative rules in the licensing chapter (ARM Title 12, chapter 3). Most of the language proposed to be adopted, amended or repealed in this notice is to remove outdated and unnecessary language and remove rule language that unnecessarily repeats language in statute. The proposed adoption, amendment and repeal of these rules will not change current practice but will reflect what is already being done regarding licensing.
The deadline for public comment on the action is Dec. 17. Comments can be sent mailed to: Licensing Rules Comments, FWP, P.O. Box 200701, Helena, MT, 59620-0701. Comments can also be emailed to FWPLicensingRules@mt.gov.
To join the hearing, call 1-206-337-9723 and enter the meeting ID – 848 0995 1956, and password – 699751.
