(Helena, MT) –Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) will host the 16th Annual Spring Meadow Triathlon at Spring Meadow Lake State Park on Sunday, July 6 at 8am.
Enjoy wonderful people, beautiful scenery and warm July weather as you compete at the 16th Annual Spring Meadow Triathlon! Swim a rectangular course in spring fed Spring Meadow Lake. Bike out and back on a rolling 2-lane paved road on Country Club Drive to Williams/Birdseye Road. Run a flat/fast course on trail, dirt road, and pavement around the lake and surrounding neighborhood. Race start, finish, and transitions are located at Spring Meadow Lake State Park.
The triathlon features Olympic and sprint distance events and as well as team and aqua-bike options. A kids triathlon follows the conclusion of the adult races. The races are USAT sanctioned. For race details or to register for the event, please visit: springmeadowtri.com

Spring Meadow Lake State Park, located on the western edge of Helena, is an urban day-use park and popular spot for family afternoons of swimming, sunbathing, fishing, birdwatching, and having fun. In addition to the water and beach area, the park offers a .8 mile, self-guided nature trail that circles the lake.
