You Could Win the Ultimate Smith River Permit!

Montana State Parks is offering the second annual Super Permit lottery for the Smith River.

One Super Permit will be drawn each year. The winner of the Super Permit will be allowed to launch on any date of their choosing that year. The permit does not include any floater fees. There is no limit on the number of Super Permit chances you may purchase ($5 per chance). Revenue from the new Super Permit will go to the Smith River Corridor Enhancement Account. The Super Permit drawing is separate from the regular Smith River permit lottery. You may apply for both lotteries.

Purchase Deadline

The deadline to purchase Super Permit chances is March 15, 2012. The Super Permit drawing will be conducted on March 19, 2012.

If You Win the Super Permit

Montana State Parks will contact the winner of the Super Permit. The winner will receive a permit and floater information packet in the mail. They may launch on any date of their choosing within the calendar year they win the permit.
