Madison River

The Madison River Negotiated Rulemaking Committee was formed at the direction of the Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission to provide consensus recommendations on how to manage recreational use on the Madison River. The charge for the Committee is to “Use a Negotiated Rulemaking Rule process (MCA 2-5-101-110) to revise the River Recreation Plan as presented to the Commission on April 19.” The Committee is made up of 10 members, all appointed by the Commission, each representing an “interest” in recreation management of the river.
