FWP has administered a grant program to develop and enhance shooting ranges since 1989 with funds generated from the sale of state hunting licenses. The Montana Shooting Range Grant Program shooting clubs, private organizations, local governments, and school districts to establish and improve of a system of shooting ranges throughout Montana.
