It is proposed by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) to acquire 1.7 acres of private deeded property and 4.99 acres of an ‘old’ highway right-of-way from Montana Department of Transportation in order to establish and manage a Fishing Access Site. This proposed site is located approximately 4 miles SW of Malta, at the confluence of Alkali Creek and the Milk River.
